Hello Mamas & Future Mamas!

I'm Kierra Washington, birth & postpartum Doula, Midwife in training, and Mom of boys 2 under 3 (soon to be 3 under 3)!

Having such empowering homebirth experiences is what led me to birth work, and I know this is where I am meant to be!

I come to you with a BS in Biology, an MS in Health Policy & Management, as well as a Professional Project Management Certification. I have spent many years in the corporate environment utilizing my education but not fulfilling my calling of helping others.

 

Birth work has opened the door for me to help Mamas have more positive birth experiences, do my part to improve birth outcomes for women of color, and focus on my passion, utilizing my skillset and experiences to provide families with Postpartum strategies to reduce Postpartum Depression.
